I just turned 2!

Hi Blog,

I have been so busy the past year learning and picking up new skills. Time flies by and I'm 2 years old already! Now I can do a lot of things. My best skill is to talk! I can talk and communicate to all adults. I'm not shy when I see strangers. Usually I will wave to them but they seldom wave back.

I'm a student of USCI playschool since Aug 2010. Its a great place and I love all the teachers there. I learnt alot of things including blocks, phonics, songs, art & craft and how to be a good girl. All the teachers like me.

Recently, I learnt that mummy is having a baby inside her tummy. That means I'm going to be a big sister. I have promised mummy that I will be a good sister. :D

I will be back again! See you soon.

I'm 7.5 months old!

Hi hi! After I said I was to update my blog myself, I didn't updated it till today! whahahaah. Its been so long since I was born. Meanwhile I had learnt how to flip over, sit up very straight, crawl and stand up! Now I can cruise too while I'm holding on to furniture! I love to move.

During these few months, mummy brought me out many many times, I made new friends, and mummy also made new friends. Daddy was so busy flying here and there.

Now, in addition to mummy's milk, I started to eat other foods as well! They are all prepared carefully by mummy! YUMMY.

Today, Mummy heard me say "mum mum mum mum mum mum" But she doesn't know whether I meant eat eat or I'm calling her! hahaha Actually its the same. When I'm hungry, I will say mum.. means "MUM I want to MUM MUM!" hahaah

Now, I'm a big big girl, I go for Kindermusik on tues and accompany mum to yoga on some wednesdays. Sometimes mummy will bring me out to shop! Here's my recent picture. :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Claire Sam and I shall take over Mummy's job of updating my blog from today onwards.

I celebrated Father's Day yesterday with mummy, daddy, grandpa and gu gu and her family! We had brunch at Crystal Jade in The Gardens Mall, KL. I was sleeping happily in my stroller till when Mummy started to eat her dessert. I cannot take it anymore, its quite hot in the stroller.

So Mummy carried me out and daddy feed me some milk as I started to feel a little hungry.

After that, Mummy suggested to walk walk abit, so we went to isetan where mummy bought me some new clothes! Mummy loves buying clothes for me. After a while, I started to cry cry again! So Mummy and Daddy brought me into the nursery room to change out of my clothes to a short sleeve one. The nursey room was very well furnished and pretty! Mummy is quite impressed with it but forgot to take a picture of it.

After that, we went to Cold Storage where I pooed! hahah then I started to fuss a bit. We then made our way back to the Isetan nursery and changed my diaper before heading home.

Both daddy and mummy was exhausted upon reaching home hee...

Lastly, I wanted to say "Happy father's day to my dear daddy!" Ang guu ang guu

Bean bean is Born!

My darling bean bean is born on 21 Apr 2009! haha. Will update more about her growing days soon...

10th Visit to Gynae

Bean bean is now 3106g! BIG bean! Mummy is 74.6kg. Fat mum! hahahaaha

Today doctor did a CTG test for me. Basically you just lie there and stone for 30 mins, while the machine measure the baby heartbeat and whether or not you have contractions. I was very very very bored for the 30 mins! Then Bean bean was also bored so she entertained me with her kicks! hahaha

After the boring CTG test, doc scanned bean bean and I saw bean bean open and close her mouth! It so very cutie! I asked doctor to see whether bean bean has hair but she said cannot see very well and laughed.

Bean bean's head is very low down already. Doc says she is engaged and ready to come out anytime! :D Yippie.

The nurses gave me the hospital admission letter today. Have to pay $1200 in deposit upon admission. EXPENSIVE!

Next appointment is 21st Apr 09. Will hubby go with me?

9th Visit to Gynae

Bean bean is 35 weeks and 4 days old! She is weighing 2796g!

Doctor says her head is deep down now. I hope she doesn't move anymore! Just stay down okie? Bean bean. So that Mama can have a natural delivery. Dr Heng is going on leave from 11th Apr to 15th Apr and 23rd Apr to 27th Apr. Bean bean you don't come out during these days ok? Make sure you come out in between or after her leave ok? Mama loves you!

I'm weighing abt 73.2kg now. Gain 13.2 kg already! I hope everything will be smooth on the delivery day. I will have a less painful delivery without epidural. Jia you jia you!!!

Week 35 shots

Today I feel like taking some shots with Bean bean still in my tummy for memory. :) Darling sister helped me to take these shots. Although a little blurry, think me and bean bean enjoyed taking them! haha :D

8th Visit to Gynae

Bean bean is now 2377g! Her head is down but still not yet engaged. I have gained only 0.5kg this 4 weeks! Woopi. Total weigh gain is about 12.2kg as off now.

Doctor did a V-swap to test for infection and blood test. Talked to doctor about when will I be giving birth. She advised Daddy Bean not to come down so early as it might be a waste of leave. But i want to have hubby's company too. heee :)

Today Grandma Bean accompanied me to the Doctor. hee Doctor said Grandma Bean is so young! I also wanna be a young grandma next time!

Anyway i was so happy with the little weight gain that I forgot to ask Doctor alot of questions again! As usual, I got a super blurry picture and this time I think Bean bean has a BIG nose! hahahaahah

Looking forward to the next appointment on 3rd Apr 09.

Bean bean Fair

Went shopping to get those things I didn't managed to get previously at all other sales. Managed to get quite a number of stuff all at discounted prices and also Bean bean's stroller! Woopi! Bean bean has a bed bed and stroller now!
Tomorrow we are going to the baby hypermart to collect bean bean's bed bed. Yippie!

7th Visit to Gynae

Bean bean has grown to 1626g! Doctor says both of us are getting fat. Must go on a diet! But I really never eat alot mah, I donno how to diet. Sobzzz...

Anyway from the scan picture, bean bean looks like she has a sharp nose and still can see her big eyes. hahahaha :)

6th Visit to Gynae

Baby is weighing 916g! Wow. Bean bean has grown very much! Good bean bean. I have gain about 8.2kg so far. So far so good. Hope it maintains this way till delivery!
During the scan, bean bean keeps moving and refuse to stop moving for the doctor to take a good picture! Haiz, the picture ended up very blur and I cannot see the face very well.
Doctor mentioned that Bean bean has BIG eyes?!?!?!?! I'm quite happy that bean bean is going to have big eyes! Hopefully she is right. :)
Nothing much this appointment! I booked the hospital bed for 2 bedded room today.
Looking forward to the next appt at 20 Jan.

5th Visit to the Gynae & Magic moment

25th Dec - Magic moment when Hubby felt bean bean's kick for the first time! Yippie. I can always remember the happy look on his face when he felt it! He had this blur happy look. So cute!

26th Dec - We went to the gynae again. The visit was super chop chop, the doctor just explained to us what was the report all about. Everything was normal. She also explained that the scan measurements just meant that the baby was big not that the due date would be brought forward. Now i understand.
I asked her about the hardness of the stomach. She said those are contractions! Cannot have more than 5 times per day! I must monitor. hee hee

Next visit will be on 23 Jan, before chinese new year. Donno if hubby is coming. Looking forward!

Detailed Scan

Went for bean bean's detailed scan today at the hospital. Hubby accompanied me. However, they did not allow him to be with me when the doctor was performing the detailed scan. Doctor took many pictures of bean bean, and made many measurements. Bean bean was a wopping 462g! hee hee Bean bean is big!

After the doctor finished taking all the pictures and measurements, she announced that bean bean was normal which was exactly what I wanted to hear!

After which the nurse shown hubby bean bean again on the machine for a short while. Hubby was sulking cuz he couldn't really see bean bean well and clear and it was just for such a short while! heee

After the scan, we went to suntec to buy a dress to wear for Keen Ming's wedding dinner. The first shop we went to was spring maternity, didn't buy anything because everything was not too nice. I was sulking after that.

Hubby says we can go to other shops where they sell alot of dresses. We then went to fashion lab and bought 3 dresses! haha After that I was happy.

In the evening, we met sis for dinner at ichiban boshi! Dinner was yummy! Merry Christmas!

4th Visit to gyane - Its a princess!

Hubby accompany me to the doctor's this time. I was a bit nervous cause today we might know the gender of our little precious. :)

Little darling was very naughty. Refused to let doctor see. Maybe she was shy... Doctor mentioned that our little darling has very long legs. I was like laughing inside.

After a huge effort and little moving of my tummy, finally doctor gave us our answer. It was a little dancing princess! I looked at hubby, he looked quite cool when the doctor annouced it.

Later after doctor appt, we went to united square to shop. So many children's things! Hubby bought a dress and a maternity pants for me. I like! We bought little princess her first present! A $5 minnie mouse top! YEH!

Next appointment : FA scan on 24th Dec & Gynae on 26th Dec.

3rd Visit to Gynae

After a long long wait, I finally can see my baby again!

The moment the doctor on the ultrasound, bean bean started to move its arms and legs! I think it was trying to say hello to mama! :)
It was so cute seeing it move! :) Hope its learning how to dance in my tummy since it can sense all the big jie jie dancing everyday in class! Come to think of it, it attends ballet class everyday with me! haha
Doc let me listen to the heartbeat again! It was fast and strong like horse racing! Doc says bean bean is big! hahaha. Bean bean eat too much already I think.

Yeh, got the greenlight from doc to take tea! I miss tea! I shall limit myself to one cup per week!

Looking forward to next appointment on 28 Nov! Hubby coming this time. YEH!

Worsing MS but sweet hubby

These few weeks have been a nightmare! Every single day of nausea and headache! Luckily this week, hubby come over and accompany me and bean bean. We had nice time together, slacking together at home. :) Hubby even bought me 3 roses from LP. Thank you!

2nd visit to Gynae

Our little bean has grown into a fat bean! hahahaah Its now 2.4cm. Doc says its growing well and stable. Counting down to the end of the first trimester now! Another 3 more weeks! Yeh!

Hubby accompanied me to the doctor yesterday. We heard the baby strong heartbeat. It sounds like horse racing! Very very fast beating.

1st Visit to the doctor

I was pretty nervous before the appointment as I didn't know what to expect. :) I didn't expect to see the baby's heartbeat!! It was a small pulsing white dot. What a miracle! That was my feelings when I saw the tiny dot. It was the first sign of life! Life created by the 2 of us! It was a joyous moment which I would never forget! Nothing as compared to all the dance moments I have had! This was wonderful!

Doctor gave me a list of things I cannot eat. I thought I better write them down when memory was still fresh.
1) Shark's Fin
2) Stingray
3) Coffee, Tea and Coke
4) Raw Food

Next appointment is on 2nd Oct. Hubby is going with me! YEH!

Week 6

I made a call to the selected gynae today. I'm asked to go down to the clinic this thursday! I'm so excited... don't know what to expect.
